There's no need for you to go shopping for school supplies this summer! The school is purchasing all classroom supplies for you. All you need is the school uniform, a backpack, a lunch box, and a water bottle!
Ginnie Hakes joins our CBS family from South Lancaster Academy where she served as Vice Principal/Registrar. She holds a BS in Elem Ed, a BA in Music, and a Masters in School Administration. She's excited to bring her variety of experience to our team. For nearly 30 years she and her husband Pastor Jim, together, have been committed to Adventist Education. They have two grown children. John 15:16 is her motivational Bible verse. "Understanding that God hand-picked me to bear fruit that will last and promises to provide whatever I need helps me to serve with confidence every day." By the way, don't be surprised to find her behind a camera lens or a good book in her free time!
A Jamaican by decent, she holds a BS in Physics and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to coming to us, she worked with the Northeastern Conference at Northeastern Academy as a Mathematics and Science Teacher. Though an educator, her passion is to see young people groomed so that they are prepared not just for this life but for eternity. She attributes her Christian foundation to her paternal grandfather and lives her life guided by Proverbs 31:30. Nadine enjoys reading, spending time in nature, and sewing.
Antonia was born and raised in Cape Verde, coming to the US when she was 19 years old. Attending Brockton High School for one year, she graduated then attended the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth where she finished with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Working as a Fund Accountant at State Street Corporation Bank has given her extensive experience that she now brings to us. Making family a priority she chose to stay home for the last few years taking care of her two precious daughters, Victoria Miranda and Vivianne Miranda. She is a member of and serves as the church secretary for the Brockton Portuguese SDA Church. Isaiah 41:10 is her favorite Bible verse. We will greatly miss Lidia but are so grateful that God has brought us Antonia to fill this pivotal position.
